About TMOM

WHY:

The purpose of our organization is to promote awareness of multiple births, participate in research and exchange ideas and information with parents of multiples throughout the state of Texas. We are non-profit, non-political and non-discriminatory (Race, Color or Creed).

WHEN:

We hold an annual convention one weekend in April. Past Conventions have been held in the following cities: San Antonio, Fort Worth, Austin, Amarillo, Dallas, Houston, Corpus Christi, Arlington, Midland, Beaumont, Clear Lake, El Paso, Katy, Lubbock, Houston Area, San Antonio Amarillo, Galveston, Grapevine, and Austin. The 34th Annual convention will be held May 3-6 2007 with the theme "Festivals of Texas!"

NEWSLETTER:

MOMS MESSENGER, a quarterly newsletter, is published by TMOM.

It is edited by the Newsletter Chairmom Cindy Broder.

PUBLICITY:

While publicity for each club is handled on a local basis, a state publicity chairmom coordinates publicity releases throughout the year. This year’s Publicity Chairmom is Pamela Britton.

LOCAL CLUBS:

Presently there are 32 clubs who are members of TMOM. They are Abilene, Allen/McKinney Area, Amarillo Area, Arlington, Austin, Bay Area, Dallas, Denton, Garland Area, Granbury, Fort Worth, Houston, Hunt and surrounding counties, IMAMOM, Katy Area, Kingwood Area, Lake Cities, Southeast Texas, Lubbock, Metro-crest, Mid-Cities, North Dallas, North Houston Area, Northwest Houston, Piney Woods, Plano Area, San Antonio Area, The Woodlands.

Texas Mothers of multiples

is a state organization of local clubs for the parents of multiple birth children. The purpose of our organization is to promote awareness of multiple births, participate in research and exchange ideas and information with parents of multiples throughout the state of Texas. Presently there are 38 clubs who are members of TMOM. We hold an annual convention one weekend each spring.
